About Last Shift
Last Shift: Humans vs Machines is a fast 3D top-down action game that runs directly in your browser. No download is needed. Technology is slowly taking over, and five ordinary workers decide to fight back. Dodge enemy fire, stand still to attack automatically, and build a powerful run with new abilities on every level-up.
Play as Five Unique Workers
- Programmer: fires homing code bolts that track enemies.
- Soldier: uses a rapid-fire rifle for steady damage.
- Financier: throws bouncing coins and earns extra gold.
- Cleaner: sprays slowing soap to control the battlefield.
- Garbage Collector: hurls heavy piercing trash bags.
Five Chapters and Boss Battles
Fight through 5 chapters with 10 rooms each. Every chapter ends with a boss encounter that tests your movement and upgrade choices.
- Smart City: robots and drones.
- Server Farm: machine-driven security.
- Global Warming: environmental hazards and enemies.
- The Parliament: devil-horned politicians.
- The Singularity: the final machine threat.
Bosses include The Supercomputer, AI Overlord, Carbon Colossus, The Chancellor, and The Singularity.
Fast Combat and Level-Up Abilities
Your hero attacks automatically when standing still, so focus on dodging enemy fire and choosing the right upgrades. Every level-up lets you pick a new ability such as Twin Shot, Ricochet, Chain Lightning, Orbital Strike, Plasma Orbs, Force Field, and more.

Upgrade your gear, unlock new heroes and talents, and complete daily quests to keep improving your runs. Last Shift is an HTML5 browser game, so you can jump in and play online without installing anything.
